Weekend Moon Sightings: February 26-28

This weekend I want you to post one time. Use the moon rise and set calendar we used in class today and that is mentioned in yesterday's post. Be smart about when you look for the moon by using the times listed. When you see it- let us know what shape it appears!

    Tonight at 10:00 I saw the moon and it was a waining gubies.

    In the morning at 7:46 pm I looked outside. I couldn't see a moon because clouds were probably blocking it. I wonder if there was another reason.

    Today I looked outside at 8:35. I saw the moon and it was a was a Waning Gibbous.

    I looked at the moon at 10:26 pm and I finally saw it. Last night I looked to early and didn't see the moon. Tonight I looked at a better time and saw the moon. It is a Waning Gibbous. I think tomarrow will be another Waning Gibbous because it has been 4 days in a row.

    I looked for the moon at 10:31 and I thought it was a "last Qtr".

    At 7:10 this morning I couldn't see the moon because it was to cloudy, but behind those clouds there is a waning gibbous.

    I looked at the moon at 7:43 am and could see the moon. It was a bit faded by a cloud. The moon was in the waning gibbous phase.

    At 9:02 I looked for the moon but I couldn't see it. I think I couldn't see it because either I was setting behind buildings or it was too sunny.

    At 7:36am i did not see the moon. It could be because it was very sunny or because i was not at a good angle but there is a waning gibbous.

    I see many bright stars at 8:30pm so it's not cloudy but I can't see the moon. I wonder why? I think it's going to be a Waning Gibbous because a lot of other posts say something about a Waning Gibbous. And I looked at the chart for the moon rise and it's 11:27PM! I'm not waiting till 11:27PM just to see the moon so I just looked outside and I get what I got (Which is I couldn't see the moon).

    Today at 7:36 am I saw the moon. It was a waning gibbous. I think if I see the moon tomorrow it might be the last quarter.

    At 7:17 a.m. I looked outside and I saw a waning gibbous. I wonder if it will be a waning gibbous again tonight
