Welcome to the 3 Mangan Moon Journal Blog! Here you will find resources to help you become moon observers. Over the next month we will be watching the night sky to see how the moon's appearance changes.
Today at 7:56 PM I saw the moon and at first I thought that it was a full moon but then I noticed a little part that wasn't clearly showing, so then I re-thought and decided that its probably a waxing gibbous.
Today i looked for the moon at 7:58 and saw it. It was amazing. Its a waxing gibbous but it looked like a full moon. I did not see any constellations. But i did see stars.
Today I looked outside at 8:11. The moon was a o close to being a Full Moon, but it is really is a Waxing Gibbous. Yesterday was like today when it is SO close to Being a Full Moon. I am pretty sure tomorrow will be a Full Moon. I didn't see any constellations. The moon seemed lower than usual.
Tonight I looked at the at 8:55 and it was a full moon. The moon was very bright. I could not see any constellations because it was to cloudy. I did see a few stars though.
At 8:48 pm I looked outside and saw the moon. It was bright and beautiful. This time it was NEARLY - and I mean it - a full moon. 99.9 % visible. I saw Orion and the big dipper (it took me a much longer time to find the big dipper though).
I looked outside at 8:40 and I saw the moon. It is 99.9% full! I looked out my window and I saw it immediately. I also saw Orion. Orion was hard to find. It would've been easier to find if it wasn't behind a tree.
I looked for the moon at 8:05 pm. I could see the moon. The moon looked kind of orange. Sam said that tonight is a lunar eclipse. He said that tonight you can see Jupiter! ( I could not see Jupiter.) I could not see any constellations.
Last night at 10:00 I looked for the moon and it was almost full. The moon looked so big up here in the Rocky Mountains. The sky is beautiful in Colorado.
I looked outside at 7:43 and I saw the moon, it was a full moon. I could not see Orion's belt or the Small/Big Dipper but I could see some stars.
