Wednesday, November 26th

Today's weather will probably make if very difficult to see the moon. If you don't see the moon, MAKE A PREDICTION. thinking about yesterday's waxing crescent, what would today's moon look like if we could see it behind the snow clouds?

Monday, November 24th

Tonight you should be able to see the moon until 6:51pm. Look this afternoon after school and blog. Try to use words like "waxing" "waning" "crescent" "gibbous" "full" or "new"

November 22nd

There is a NEW moon today. On Monday we will talk about what that term means. This weekend observe the sky throughout your days and let me know if you see any moon. Also, make a prediction as to what size the moon would be based off the previous days.

November 20th (Early Morning-Mid Afternoon)

Today (Thursday) You can only see the moon from about 3AM (early this morning) to 3PM.

If you are blogging for Thursday Morning write it here, November 20th.

It is a strange time with the moon rising and setting so just look what day you observed, then blog under that date.

November 12th/November 13th

You will not see the moon tonight until after 10:00pm. I hope you are in bed sleeping by then, you need your rest for another school day!

What I recommend doing is looking tomorrow morning.  According to the moon rise/set schedule the moon will be out before you go to school tomorrow so if you can, wake up and blog :)

November 11th

Great job these past few days making an effort to see the moon! Some of you were having trouble earlier in the evening finding the moon. Remember, the moon rises and sets, just like the sun. If you check your rising and setting times for tonight it is rising pretty late but you will be able to see it this morning for a while. So just don't check at night :)

Saw the moon at 10:00pm last night. The top right corner was smaller the the other nights. It kind of looked like it was fading away.
